Greyrock Homes has built over 750 homes in Connecticut since 1979 ranging in size from 1,200 to 12,000 square feet. Led by Principal Jerry Effren, Greyrock has earned numerous awards for its development efforts, including the prestigious HOBI “Builder of the Year” in 1990 and 2004 for the State of Connecticut and in 2003 for Fairfield County Home Builders & Remodelers Association.
The Greyrock team of professionals offers a wide array of real estate services as well. As a licensed real estate brokerage firm since 1977, they offer extensive experience in real estate, development, construction, renovation, consulting, and sales. Our Team
Jerry Effren has built a reputation for excellence, quality and integrity and has been a leader in the industry for 30 years along with his team. His experience also extends into consulting and commercial projects as well. He is past president of the Fairfield County and the Connecticut Home Builders Associations.
Kyle Bertolone, Kyle Bertolone is the CFO and COO of The Greyrock Companies, where he oversees new construction, renovations, and tenant relations. He previously provided interim financial services at The Siegfried Group, working with Fortune 1000 companies and non-profits. Kyle also spent nearly a decade at The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, leading financial reporting and regulatory change initiatives. He began his career at McGladrey and Pullen LLP, gaining a strong foundation in audit work and financial strategy.
Sandy Effren, Principal and Design Consultant, received multiple HOBI Awards for Interior Merchandizing. Her creative sense of style reflects current trends while recognizing that function is integral in understanding the customer’s lifestyle.
